Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stukoy Provsky (ranked 6460 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oka Sog (ranked 4170 p4p, 0 weight class). Oka Sog has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stukoy Provsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oka Sog! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Provsky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sog circles away. Sog swats away the attempt to clinch by Provsky. Sog now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Provsky throws a head kick that Sog semi-blocks.
Provsky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sog bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sloppy strikes there by Sog. Provsky seems a little lost for a moment, as Sog dominates the positioning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sog decides to stand back up. Sog steps back and let's Provsky get back to his feet. Provsky is breathing heavily. Sog shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sog showed some decent athleticism there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sog thows a huge punch but Provsky dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sog controlling the action here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sog is looking to advance position but Provsky won't allow it. Provsky tries to kick Sog off but Sog keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sog scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sog decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Sog gets the takedown into side control. Provsky is being controlled here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Sog has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Sog stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sog shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Provsky is trying to defend but Sog finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Provsky pushes Sog off but Sog dives into side control.
Provsky is letting Sog control him for a moment. Sog tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sog controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sog stands up and beckons Provsky to his feet. Sog fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Provsky, pushing him back against the cage. Sog misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sog misses with a hook to the ribs.
Provsky misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sog.
Sog will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Provsky up against the cage. Provsky tries to land a knee to the head but Sog blocks with his arms.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oka Sog dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Sog drives through with a takedown into Provsky's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sog gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Provsky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sog doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Stukoy Provsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Provsky is looking to clinch but Sog is avoiding it.
Sog flicks out a counter leg kick but Provsky steps away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sog. Sog is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Provsky's shoulder. That is not cool. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Provsky tries to escape but Sog is in control. Sog taking a breather here. Sog stands up and we're back to a striking position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Provsky gets caught flat footed, as Sog shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sog controls from within his opponent's guard. Provsky seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Sog decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Provsky, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sog throws a leg kick but Provsky sees it coming and checks it nicely. Sog shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Provsky's guard. Sog is standing up over Provsky. Provsky looks to escape but Sog dives into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Sog's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sog has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Sog closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Provsky did well to prevent Sog getting side control. Provsky is looking to get back to is feet but Sog passes into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sog remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sog decides to stand up, so the ref orders Provsky to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oka Sog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sog has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Sog looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Provsky wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sog manages to pass to side control.

Sog stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Provsky to get to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sog dives in and scores a takedown into Provsky's guard. Provsky is wriggling around but Sog manages to pass to half guard.
Sog is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sog is continuing to stall. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Sog. Sog escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sog gets the takedown into side control. Sog controls the position from side control. Oka Sog is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sog decides to stand up, so the ref orders Provsky to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Oka Sog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
