The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Saunders as Marcelo Martin shoots in.
Saunders stuffs the takedown attempt from Marcelo Martin. Marcelo Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
Saunders tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Marcelo Martin manages to circle out of the way.
Marcelo Martin closes the distance and clinches up with Saunders, looking for a takedown. Marcelo Martin pushes Saunders against the cage but Saunders circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

It looked like Saunders was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Marcelo Martin gets to his feet and stands over Saunders, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Saunders felt that one! Marcelo Martin unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Saunders from any more punishment!
