Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crack Head (ranked 7088 p4p, 138 weight class) and Papa John (ranked 7503 p4p, 143 weight class). Papa John is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crack Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Papa John! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Head. Head tries to score a power double leg takedown but John sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Head somewhat. John misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Head.
As John looks to move away, Head throws a big counter combo but John just gets out of the way. John takes a swing at Head's ribcage but misses. John ducks down and throws a hook to the body. The crowd cheers as John lands an impressive looking overhand right. Head doesn't seem phased though. John lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Head moves into the clinch. John throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Head blocks it with crossed arms. John can't find room to land a body shot as Head controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. John gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. John wants to stall.
John pressing his opponent against the cage. John told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. John lands an elbow inside. John blocks a punch to the side of the head.
John creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. John prevents a body shot from Head. John stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Head misses with a hook from the clinch. John lands a nice elbow from the clinch. John scores with an uppercut up the middle. John connects with a nasty looking knee right to Head's face.

Head swings wildly with an uppercut but John uses good head movement to avoid it. Head takes a knee to the side of the body.

This has been an exciting period of action! John lands an elbow that stopped Head in his tracks for a moment. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from John. Head looking for a takedown. John scores with a hook to the body. Head avoiding damage as John throws knees to the body.

Head is breathing heavily. John comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Head prevents a body shot from John. Head letting John take a breather here. Nice body punch from John. John is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. John stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice elbow from John. Head takes a knee right on the jaw!

John has Head pushed against the cage. Head breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Head gets tackled into the cage by John. John maintains the clinch. Head wants to take the fight to the mat but John manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crack Head. That's going to take a lot out of him. Head breaks the clinch.
John drives through and clinches with Head against the cage.
John is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Head is defending well for now. John content to slow the pace in the clinch.

John tries to work over Head's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. With the two fighters working up against the cage, John just misses with a elbow thrown towards Head's brow. John throws an elbow that misses.
John is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Head is defending well for now. John scores a nice knee to the body.

Head jumps guard but John stands there with Head around his waist. Head gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Papa John dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

John lands a nice knee to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Head throws a knee to the head but misses.

Head is rocked! With the two fighters working up against the cage, Head just misses with a elbow thrown towards John's brow. Oh Head is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! John has Head pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Head is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from John - that's hurt Head badly! Oh, another knee lands and Head is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Head doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Papa John!
