Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Hall Jr (ranked 4265 p4p, 471 weight class) and Phil Pollock (ranked 7090 p4p, 596 weight class). Hall Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Dirt Off Your Shoulder-Jay Z. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Pollock! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice uppercut lands for Pollock. That snapped Hall Jr's head back.

Pollock misses with a series of wild punches.
Pollock throws a chopping leg kick but Hall Jr manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hall Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
Hall Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pollock. Pollock tries to bum rush Hall Jr with a series of wild strikes but Hall Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hall Jr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pollock. Hall Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
We've been informed that Pollock has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Pollock lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Pollock lands a nice hook to Hall Jr's body. Hall Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hall Jr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hall Jr throws a head kick that misses. Pollock unleashes a big counter combination but Hall Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Pollock connects with a body shot. Pollock misses with a body shot.
Hall Jr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall Jr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Hall Jr throws a nice looking combination but Pollock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pollock swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Pollock lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A punch combination from Pollock misses. Pollock lands a right hook to the body.
Pollock misses with a low kick as Hall Jr jumps back. Hall Jr throws a body kick that misses. Hall Jr takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pollock cracks Hall Jr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pollock scores with a decent looking hook. Hall Jr misses with a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from Hall Jr. Those never looked like landing. As Hall Jr backs off Pollock throws a huge counter combo but Hall Jr manages to avoid it all. Hall Jr throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Pollock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall Jr throws a series of punches but Pollock moves out of range. Pollock appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Hall Jr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pollock. Nice body kick there by Hall Jr. Pollock throws a leg kick but Hall Jr sees it coming and moves out of range. Hall Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pollock was well out of range. Poor timing from Hall Jr. A right-left combo lands from Pollock. Pollock misses with a wild combination.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pollock.
Donk. Pollock catches Hall Jr right on the button with a cross. Pollock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall Jr manages to avoid it. Hall Jr checks the leg kick nicely there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall Jr takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Pollock gets in close and tags Hall Jr with a short punch that almost sends Hall Jr to the mat! Oh Hall Jr is in big trouble! He turns his back on Pollock, trying to create some distance but Pollock rushes him, striking wildly and Hall Jr goes down! The referee tackles Pollock into the cage to end the fight! Pollock is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Pollock! Our winner, Phil Pollock, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Urijah Hall Jr spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost the battle, but won the war. Fuck that guy and his whole team, bunch of chumps...'.
