Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gustavo Santos (ranked 2300 p4p, 33 weight class) and Anthony Birchack (ranked 7756 p4p, 122 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Santos moves into the clinch successfully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos is looking to work his way around to Birchack's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Santos controlling his opponent. Santos has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Birchack prevents Santos from taking his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos content just to control the position here. Birchack is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Santos controlling from the full mount. Santos avoids the attempt from Birchack to control. Birchack keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Birchack is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Santos controlling the pace for now. Santos's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Santos has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it.
