The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valiant looks for a takedown but Bennett sprawls well.
Valiant darts in looking for a takedown but Bennett gets double underhooks and turns Valiant into the cage.
Valiant tries a head kick but it misses.
Valiant tries to close the distance and clinch but Bennett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bennett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valiant but Valiant pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Valiant throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bennett escapes and throws Valiant's legs to the side, diving into side control!
