Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Silva (ranked 1052 p4p, 143 weight class) and Milktoast Diddlybottom (ranked 534 p4p, 74 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Architects-Doomsday. Diddlybottom has chosen Milquetoast as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milktoast Diddlybottom! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diddlybottom drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Diddlybottom is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diddlybottom accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diddlybottom's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Diddlybottom pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now. Silva utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Diddlybottom wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Diddlybottom looking to pass the guard. Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diddlybottom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diddlybottom throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diddlybottom is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diddlybottom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diddlybottom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diddlybottom cracks Silva with a solid left hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diddlybottom stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control. Diddlybottom is working Silva over with some ground and pound from side control. Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Diddlybottom off and has taken his back! Silva has the hooks in. Diddlybottom is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Diddlybottom manages to reverse the position and now he's in Silva's guard. Nice work there by Diddlybottom.
Diddlybottom throws a big elbow that misses. Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Diddlybottom advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Silva trying to hold on to Diddlybottom's head to control him but Diddlybottom postures up.
Diddlybottom looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diddlybottom wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva blocking the ground and pound attempt from Diddlybottom. Diddlybottom is looking for a kimura here.
Diddlybottom is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it. Diddlybottom wants to work for an arm triangle but Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Diddlybottom is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva is trying to get back to full guard. Diddlybottom seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Silva is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Milktoast Diddlybottom! Milktoast Diddlybottom really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Pit Bull Development logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
