Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fist Steelneck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro The Bullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Bullet has chosen Skid Row - Slave To The Grind as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alejandro The Bullet! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steelneck scores a takedown into full mount! The Bullet defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Steelneck. The Bullet tries to lock up and control but Steelneck gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steelneck sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The Bullet really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The Bullet is trying to reverse the position but instead Steelneck has taken his back - oops! The Bullet tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The Bullet is working to get back to half guard.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Bullet for as long as he can get away with. He's landed in The Bullet's guard. Steelneck stands up from The Bullet's guard - Steelneck perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steelneck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Steelneck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The Bullet looks gassed! The Bullet wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Steelneck.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Steelneck holds on and takes a little breather. Steelneck pushes The Bullet off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Steelneck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Steelneck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Steelneck content just to control the position here. Steelneck lands a heavy elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steelneck controlling from mount. The Bullet blocking the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fist Steelneck dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Steelneck drives through with a takedown into guard. The Bullet trying to keep a closed guard but Steelneck is proving a slippery customer.
Steelneck not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Steelneck pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Bullet is keeping the position for now. The Bullet has his foot on Steelneck's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Steelneck works his way back into a safe position though. Steelneck content to stall in guard here. Steelneck missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The Bullet is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Bullet can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steelneck controls the pace. Fist Steelneck overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Fist Steelneck just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. The Bullet misses with a takedown and Steelneck counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steelneck. Steelneck stays in close to The Bullet's body and controls the position.

Will The Bullet tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Steelneck pushes The Bullet away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
