Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Tennant (ranked 2913 p4p, 302 weight class) and Inspektor Dee (ranked 2058 p4p, 243 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant slips a straight right by Dee.
Dee moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dee cracks Tennant with an open hand slap.
Dee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tennant lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Inspektor Dee has been cut.
Dee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tennant.
A little feinted left hand from Tennant on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jab, jab by Dee - just one landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tennant looks to score with a jab to the body but Dee is just out of range.
Dee looks to land a combination but Tennant avoids it well.
Tennant looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dee connects with a leg kick. Tennant looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Dee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dee throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tennant misses with a straight left.

Dee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dee moves out of range of the strikes.
Tennant lands a lovely overhand right.
Dee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dee missing with a left hand there. Tennant was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tennant scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Tennant takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tennant sizes up Dee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Tennant tries to clinch but Dee moves out of range.
Tennant throws an off balance right hand
and Dee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tennant.
Dee has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Dee swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tennant.
Tennant fails in his attempt to clinch.
A countering left hand to the body from Dee misses.
Dee lands a front kick.
Dee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tennant.
Dee lands a jab.
Crunch! Dee slams his shin into Tennant's torso.
Tennant is breathing heavily.
Dee lands a jab to the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dee.
A big right from Tennant misses.

A jab-cross combination lands for Dee and sends Tennant crashing to the mat! Dee follows him down to the mat - Tennant regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Doctor Tennant has been cut.

Dee decides to stand up.

Tennant moves into the clinch.
Dee lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Dee tries a body shot but Tennant blocks it.
Dee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tennant backwards.

Dee breaks the clinch.
Dee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tennant.
Tennant on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dee lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tennant takes a step back to recover.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dee - that will leave a mark!
A combination from Dee does no damage.
Tennant takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Tennant has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tennant there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dee is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tennant had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
A slapping body kick lands there for Dee.

Dee lands a high kick to the side of Tennant's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Dee dives into guard, looking to finish.

Tennant is rocked!

Dee gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tennant takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A nice inside leg kick there by Dee. That's going to slow Tennant down.
Dee lands a jab to Tennant's midsection.
Dee pushes Tennant away with a front kick.
Dee looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Dee throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Tennant tumbling to the canvas!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dee stands up and waves to Tennant to follow him.
Dee closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Tennant out cold! Tennant corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
