The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nui lands a lovely overhand right.
Nui shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Destro eats them both and turns towards Nui to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nui throws a sloppy head kick
and Destro counters with a single leg into guard. Nui didn't expect that.
Nui is wriggling around but Destro manages to pass to half guard.
Destro is trying for a kimura here. Nui looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Destro wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dante Destro!
