Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Lewis (ranked 4266 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Larraza (ranked 3212 p4p, 0 weight class). Larraza pushes Lewis up against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Larraza tries for a takedown but Lewis manages to get underhooks.
Larraza is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lewis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Larraza tries to score a body lock takedown but Lewis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Larraza is trying to maintain a safe position but Lewis gets an underhook and turns Larraza into the cage.
Lewis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Larraza to keep the fight standing.
Larraza manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Larraza is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larraza has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lewis defend it? Larraza steps over the head and cranks it - Lewis is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Larraza!
