Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Umberto Grena!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Altintop Palonesess!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palonesess cracks Grena with a right hand to the side of the head.

Grena gets a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Grena missing with knees to the body.
Grena stops a takedown attempt from Palonesess.
Palonesess tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Grena jumps guard but Palonesess turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Palonesess's coach down at Star Studded Beef was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Palonesess's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Grena tries a body shot but Palonesess blocks it.

Grena breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palonesess shoots in but Grena avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Umberto Grena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Altintop Palonesess.

Grena shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Palonesess napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Palonesess is looking for a sweep.

Grena decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Grena gets caught napping as Palonesess dives in and scores a takedown. Grena manages to retain guard.
Palonesess controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Grena is working an open guard so Palonesess takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Grena went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Palonesess swats away the attempt to clinch by Grena.
Palonesess closes the distance but Grena moves to the side
and Grena counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Palonesess thinking.

Palonesess shoots in but Grena avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Grena lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Palonesess looking to improve position, pressing down on Grena's thigh with his hand. Grena seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Palonesess paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Palonesess's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Grena picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

Umberto Grena tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
In defeat, Altintop Palonesess stepped up to the mic, saying 'Shit happends!!! '.
