Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Marcell (ranked 2161 p4p, 87 weight class) and Jimmy Henderson (ranked 4613 p4p, 106 weight class). Marcell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Russia National Anthem. Niko Marcell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Marcell. Henderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Henderson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Marcell stuns Henderson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Marcell has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Marcell throws a lazy right hand but Henderson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Some bone on bone action there as Henderson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marcell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marcell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Henderson has momentary wrist control but Marcell slips an elbow through the middle.
It looks like Jimmy Henderson has been cut.

Marcell arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Henderson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Niko Marcell!
A relieved looking Niko Marcell thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
