Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matti Lautakasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Chainrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus Chainrock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maximus Chainrock!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chainrock's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chainrock duly obliges.
Lautakasa fails to land the takedown.
Lautakasa looks for a takedown but Chainrock sprawls well.

Chainrock shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chainrock looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lautakasa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lautakasa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chainrock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lautakasa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chainrock's back instead.

Lautakasa is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Chainrock has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lautakasa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chainrock is just riding it out for now. Lautakasa eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matti Lautakasa.
I think Lautakasa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
