Oooooh!!! OConnell has knocked Palmer down with a huge combo! OConnell steps away and waves a wobbly Palmer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Roy Palmer has been cut.

OConnell throws a big counter combination but Palmer scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Palmer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

OConnell swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Palmer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A decent looking cross lands there for Palmer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OConnell connects with a combination that backs up Palmer into the cage. OConnell lands a flurry of punches that gets past Palmer's guard. Palmer is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! OConnell bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
