Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Sullivan (ranked 2692 p4p, 344 weight class) and Deviante Russell (ranked 2032 p4p, 273 weight class). Sullivan comes to the cage accompanied by Luck of the Irish. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Russell.
Sullivan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Russell.
Oooooh!!! Sullivan has knocked Russell down with a huge combo! Sullivan steps away and waves a wobbly Russell back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Deviante Russell has been cut.
Russell moves out of range of the leg kick from Sullivan.
Sullivan throws a head kick that misses.
Russell slips a jab and a cross from Sullivan.
Russell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sullivan throws out the jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Russell misses.
Sullivan slips a straight right by Russell.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Russell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Sullivan throws a head kick that half lands.
Russell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sullivan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Russell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sullivan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Russell.
Russell throws a looping overhand right but Sullivan ducks down to avoid it.
Sullivan feinted with a counter takedown.

Russell wants to clinch up but Sullivan keeps it at a distance.

Sullivan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Russell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sullivan manages to avoid it.
Russell scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sullivan in his tracks.
Sullivan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've been hearing reports that Sullivan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sullivan takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Russell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sullivan manages to avoid it.
Sullivan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Russell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Russell lands with a right that hurts Sullivan. Sullivan looks to clinch but Russell throws a short knee that drops Sullivan. This one is all over!
