The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundmann clinches up against the ropes.
Grundmann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A cross from Kin lands.
It looks like Michael Grundmann has been cut.
Kin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Grundmann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kin, pushing him back against the ropes.
Kin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Grundmann trying to control the position but instead, Kin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Grundmann into the ropes.
Grundmann looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Grundmann breaks from the clinch.
Kin misses with a double jab.
Kin cracks Grundmann with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Grundmann is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Grundmann is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Grundmann is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grundmann tries to get into range but Kin steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Grundmann! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Kin scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Berto Kin!
