Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scar Ambe (ranked 1194 p4p, 150 weight class) and Tino Tropper (ranked 3316 p4p, 359 weight class). Ambe comes to the cage accompanied by Gunna - The World is Yours. Tino Tropper has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scar Ambe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tino Tropper!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambe throws a jab when Tropper was well out of range.

Ambe moves into the clinch.

Ambe has hold of one of Tropper's legs. Tropper is fighting the takedown attempt but Ambe gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Ambe wants to control from the top but Tropper keeps moving.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tropper can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tropper is on top in guard.

Tropper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ambe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tropper has managed to get both his arms back between Ambe's legs - danger averted.

Ambe has his foot on Tropper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tropper works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tropper is pushing down on Ambe's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ambe is fighting to maintain full guard but Tropper has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ambe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tropper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ambe lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Ambe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tropper's guard.

Tropper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ambe's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ambe's back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Ambe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Ambe takes the fight into the clinch.
We've been informed that Tropper has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Ambe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ambe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tropper is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Ambe is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tropper can't fight it off and eventually Ambe manages to take the fight to the floor. Tropper looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ambe's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ambe is looking to work some ground and pound but Tropper has wrist control.

Ambe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tropper can do to turn this around?
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ambe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tropper is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Ambe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tropper swivels though and keeps the full guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tropper slips under a jab from Ambe.

Ambe seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ambe lands an overhand right.
Ambe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tropper manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ambe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tropper is pressed up against the cage. Ambe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tropper down to the mat. Tropper avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ambe.
Tropper feints the counter takedown.
Tropper slips a straight right by Ambe.
And Tropper tries to counter it with a takedown but Ambe pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ambe.
Ambe lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Ambe has picked Tropper up - he's going for a ride! Ambe dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Ambe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tropper's guard.

Ambe thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tropper's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tropper is staying active underneath Ambe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Ambe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tropper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tropper is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ambe is trying to trip Tropper. He has hold of a leg but Tropper is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ambe persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Tropper isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ambe stacks Tropper on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ambe!

Scar Ambe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ambe seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ambe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ambe has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ambe content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ambe looks to land a left hand but Tropper moved out of range nicely.

Well Ambe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
