The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tzirtis doesn't manage to clinch there - Nalias circles away.

Tzirtis misses with a low kick as Nalias jumps back.
Alexis Tzirtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nalias feints a jab promting Tzirtis to slip. Nalias then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tzirtis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Tzirtis shoots in looking for a takedown but Nalias manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tzirtis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
