1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolay Perevalov! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perevalov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Humphrey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Perevalov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Humphrey really is a fat lump. Humphrey looking to control.
Humphrey keeping moving, preventing Perevalov from controlling successfully. Perevalov wants to get up but he can't break Humphrey's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perevalov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Humphrey swivels though and keeps the full guard. Humphrey trying to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Humphrey shoots in for a takedown but Perevalov shows good takedown defense. Humphrey moves out of range as Perevalov throws a body kick.

Perevalov holds on, trying desperately to control. Humphrey raining down shots from the mount! Perevalov is squirming around, avoiding Humphrey's attempts to control the action. Perevalov tries to lock up and control but Humphrey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Humphrey scoring with strikes but Perevalov is staying in there. Perevalov is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position. Humphrey punching from mount but Perevalov doing a good job of avoiding damage. Humphrey lands a couple of good shots and Perevalov has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Humphrey is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Perevalov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Perevalov for a finish. Perevalov trying to control the position but Humphrey manages to sink in the hooks.

Humphrey throws strikes from the back but Perevalov rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Perevalov. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Nikolay Perevalov. Well Perevalov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
