Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Furnum Pullum (ranked 1781 p4p, 74 weight class) and Dodong Santiago (ranked 2387 p4p, 105 weight class). Santiago has chosen i just want it all as his entrance music. Furnum Pullum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Furnum Pullum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dodong Santiago! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pullum closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pullum lands in his opponent's guard. Pullum is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've been hearing good reports from Pullum's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Pullum drops back looking for a leg! Santiago is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Santiago manages to kick Pullum off! Pullum jumps back into Santiago's guard. Pullum trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pullum engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Pullum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pullum content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pullum slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pullum works to advance to full mount. Santiago defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Pullum fails to take his opponent's back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pullum with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pullum is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Santiago is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Furnum Pullum! A determined Furnum Pullum didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
