Takuma scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Steel doesn't seem bothered though.

and Takuma counters with a crisp right hand that drops Steel! Takuma lets Steel back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Steel is rocked!
Takuma finds Steel's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Steel flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Takuma lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Steel will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryo Takuma! Ryo Takuma retains his super heavyweight title!
An out of breath Ryo Takuma thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
