18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philo Beddo! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Smiling Assassin takes a swing at Beddo's ribcage but misses. The Smiling Assassin swings for the body but Beddo moves out of range.
The Smiling Assassin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The Smiling Assassin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. The Smiling Assassin avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The Smiling Assassin attempts a counter takedown but Beddo avoids it well and moves away. The Smiling Assassin throws a lazy uppercut
and Beddo counters with a straight right hand. The Smiling Assassin has Beddo up against the cage in a clinch.
Beddo tries to land a knee to the head but The Smiling Assassin blocks with his arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beddo is trying to pull guard but The Smiling Assassin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Beddo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. The Smiling Assassin is defending well for now. With the fighters up against the cage, Beddo throws an elbow but misses. Beddo lands an elbow inside that The Smiling Assassin shrugs off. The Smiling Assassin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Beddo backwards. Beddo has The Smiling Assassin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. The Smiling Assassin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Beddo takes an elbow to the forehead.

and Beddo counters with a right hand to the body. Beddo throws a lazy right hand but The Smiling Assassin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. It looked like The Smiling Assassin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A head kick misses from The Smiling Assassin. Beddo looks like he wants to counter punch here. Steve The Smiling Assassin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Smiling Assassin lands a high kick!

Beddo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by The Smiling Assassin.
A chopping leg kick lands by The Smiling Assassin. Beddo throws a body shot but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beddo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Beddo jabs The Smiling Assassin to the body, keeping him at a distance. Beddo swings for the body but The Smiling Assassin moves out of range.
The Smiling Assassin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. The Smiling Assassin sets himself, and Beddo steps forward looking for the clinch! The Smiling Assassin avoids it this time. Beddo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Beddo connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent The Smiling Assassin tumbling to the canvas! Beddo pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! The Smiling Assassin was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Philo Beddo! Philo Beddo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. The defeated Steve The Smiling Assassin had this to say: 'Thank you fans for your support and Vladimir Putin for inspiring me to take shirtless photos of myself.'.
