The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guthrie pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Leopold back to the cage. Guthrie follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Jack Leopold has been cut.
Leopold looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Guthrie!
Guthrie wants to control but Leopold postures up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leopold keeps control of the position easily here as Guthrie tries to buck him off.
Leopold has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Guthrie has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Leopold is looking for the choke from the back position but Guthrie is controlling his hands well.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leopold is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Teddy Guthrie's cut is getting worse.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leopold is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Guthrie knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Guthrie for a finish.
Leopold looking to break Guthrie's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Guthrie remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Leopold will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Guthrie wants to escape the position.
Leopold is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Leopold gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Leopold gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Leopold apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Jeez, Teddy Guthrie's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
