The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ntsengue to the ground. West is now in Ntsengue's guard.
Ntsengue looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
West is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
West is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
West works a leg free and moves into half guard.
West is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
West lands with a punch from half guard.
Ntsengue is defending against the submission attempts here by West.
West has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ntsengue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
West is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ntsengue is forced to tap! Great finish!

After the fight, Wayde West was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
