Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tventy One Savage (ranked 4119 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Patrick (ranked 5256 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tventy One Savage ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Patrick! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patrick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No joy there for Savage , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Savage misses. Savage looks to land a right hand but Patrick moved out of range. Savage swings widly with a right hand
and Patrick counters with a left and a right that stings Savage . Savage waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Patrick. Patrick feints the counter takedown. Patrick has managed to clinch.
Patrick pulls guard effortlessly. Patrick has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Savage trying to control but Patrick is working from the bottom. Savage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patrick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Savage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Savage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Patrick pulls Savage in close to prevent any damage. Patrick is looking for a triangle but Savage pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Patrick cracks Savage with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Savage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Patrick counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Savage is looking to break free of the clinch but Patrick has double underhooks. Savage is working for takedown but Patrick is calmly controlling the position for now. Patrick gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Savage .

Patrick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Savage , pushing him back against the cage. Patrick pulls guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Patrick is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savage wants to stand but Patrick is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savage is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Patrick gets to his feet. Savage looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Savage misses with an uppercut. Patrick saw that one coming. Savage throws a hook but Patrick blocks it. Patrick moves out of range of the strikes. Savage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Patrick counters by clinching up. Patrick pulls Savage into guard.
Savage is fighting to break Patrick's control of his arms but Patrick is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Let's hope that Patrick has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patrick manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Patrick pulls guard effortlessly. Savage won't allow Patrick to sweep him here. Savage wants to stand but Patrick is controlling his posture from full guard. Patrick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Savage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Patrick looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Patrick dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Patrick uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Savage . Savage misses with an uppercut
and Patrick counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Patrick shoots in looking for a takedown. Savage tries to sprawl out of it but Patrick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Savage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Patrick fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A lazy left from Savage finds it's target. Patrick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Savage .
Savage tests Patrick's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fight moves into the clinch position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patrick lands a left hand that snaps the head of Savage backwards. Savage is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Patrick to keep the fight standing. Patrick successfully pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patrick lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Patrick has Savage pulled in close to control his posture. Savage has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Savage looking to sit in guard and control but Patrick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Savage looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Patrick passes into half guard.
Patrick seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Patrick is continuing to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Patrick sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Savage defending well though. Patrick throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Patrick is figuring out what he wants to do next. Patrick is trying to work for a kimura but Savage is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patrick wants to work for an arm triangle but Savage is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Patrick throws an elbow but Savage slips to the side and avoids it well. Savage is letting Patrick control him for a moment. Savage tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Patrick wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Savage parries the strikes from Patrick easily there. Patrick is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Savage to escape.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Patrick has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Patrick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Savage .
Patrick darts in and clinches Savage up against the cage. Patrick pulls guard. Patrick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Savage manages to get himself to full guard.
Patrick stands and throws Savage 's legs to the side, diving into side control. Daniel Patrick has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Patrick wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Savage , who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patrick clinches up against the cage. Patrick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Savage sizes up Patrick with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage looks to land a combination but Patrick avoids it well. Sloppy strikes from Savage . Those never looked like landing. Savage misses with a right hand and Patrick counters by moving into the clinch. Patrick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Savage rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Patrick moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Patrick tries to counter with a clinch but Savage shakes him off and moves away. Nice defenses there by Patrick. Patrick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Savage 's guard. Patrick's corner is telling him to maintain position. Patrick advances position into side control! Savage trying to remain calm as Patrick controls from the top position. Savage is trying to buck Patrick off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Patrick. Patrick throws a strike aimed at the side of Savage 's head but Savage avoids it well. Patrick is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Savage will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patrick advances to full mount. Savage tries to hold on but Patrick pushes him away. Patrick gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Patrick darts in and clinches Savage up against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Patrick. Patrick pulls guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Patrick is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Patrick uses his free foot to push down on Savage 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Savage . Patrick sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Patrick controlling the position easily from mount. Savage wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Tventy One Savage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Patrick slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Daniel Patrick is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Savage is trying to stand back up.
