Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brady Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wladimir Kutchkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kutchkov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by System of a Down - BYOB. Brady Baird looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kutchkov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Baird misses with a takedown attempt - Kutchkov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kutchkov clinches with his opponent.
Kutchkov wants a takedown but no success here.
Kutchkov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Baird is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kutchkov is keeping busy.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Kutchkov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baird manages to get himself to full guard.

Kutchkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baird pinned against the cage. Baird gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kutchkov tries to lock up and control but Baird gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kutchkov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kutchkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baird. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kutchkov is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Baird makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Baird.
Kutchkov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kutchkov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Baird counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Baird.
Baird landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Baird keeps control of Kutchkov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kutchkov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Baird pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Baird tries to score a body lock takedown but Kutchkov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kutchkov pulls guard effortlessly.
Baird gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kutchkov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Baird decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kutchkov's guard.

Baird prevents Kutchkov from getting back to his feet.
Kutchkov controls Baird momentarily but Baird frees himself.
Kutchkov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Brady Baird seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kutchkov counters with a single leg into guard. Baird didn't expect that.

Kutchkov is desperately trying to improve his position but Baird has a good base and remains in mount.
Baird lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kutchkov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Baird looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Baird moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kutchkov has worked his arm free - good work by Kutchkov!
Kutchkov wants to control but Baird postures up.
Kutchkov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Baird wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Baird passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kutchkov!

Baird wants to control the pace but Kutchkov is squirming around nicely.
Kutchkov is looking to improve his position but Baird isn't that keen on the idea.

Baird lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kutchkov wanted to stand there but Baird had control of the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brady Baird will probably get the nod.

Baird looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kutchkov has Baird pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Baird manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kutchkov cracks Baird with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Baird lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Baird looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kutchkov is fending him off so far but Baird persists. Nope, Kutchkov circles away and we're back to standing.
Kutchkov keeps the fight on the outside.

Baird pushes Kutchkov off looking to stand but Kutchkov dives back in and keeps control.
Baird misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Baird wants to improve his position but Kutchkov is controlling well.

Kutchkov wants to pass to mount but Baird is defending the position.
Baird tries to get to full guard but Kutchkov has control of the leg.
Baird is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kutchkov pulls his head out easily.
Baird is staying active underneath Kutchkov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Baird throws a front kick that sends Kutchkov stumbling back into the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kutchkov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Baird counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Baird.

Baird escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kutchkov fails with the takedown
and Baird decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kutchkov's guard.
Kutchkov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kutchkov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Baird is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight!
Brady Baird showed his dominance in that final round.
