Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tak Pra Muk (ranked 4540 p4p, 374 weight class) and Ryan Johnson (ranked 5363 p4p, 437 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tak Pra Muk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Pra Muk in a clinch.
Pra Muk misses with a body punch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Pra Muk is trying to maintain a safe position but Johnson gets an underhook and turns Pra Muk into the ropes.
Pra Muk swings wildly with an uppercut but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pra Muk tries a body shot but Johnson blocks it.
Pra Muk tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Johnson's elbow.
Pra Muk is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Johnson tries to break the clinch but Pra Muk is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson blocking some punches.
Johnson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Pra Muk lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Pra Muk doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Johnson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pra Muk's elbow.

Pra Muk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pra Muk gets tackled into the ropes by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
Pra Muk tries to work over Johnson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Pra Muk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pra Muk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pra Muk missing with a left hand there. Johnson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pra Muk swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.
Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pra Muk was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson.
Pra Muk throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut.
Pra Muk loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Pra Muk looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Pra Muk is just out of range.
Tak Pra Muk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Pra Muk paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pra Muk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Johnson lands a front kick.

Johnson forces Pra Muk back against the ropes and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pra Muk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pra Muk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pra Muk blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Pra Muk jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Johnson slips a jab and a cross from Pra Muk.
Pra Muk missing with a left hand there. Johnson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Johnson connects with a looping right hand.
Johnson slips under a jab from Pra Muk.
Pra Muk throws a lazy uppercut
and Johnson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ryan Johnson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Johnson staying out of range there.

Pra Muk connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Johnson onto his butt! Johnson bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.


It looks like Ryan Johnson has been cut.
Pra Muk moves forwards but Johnson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pra Muk misses with a looping right.
Pra Muk lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


Johnson is rocked!
Tak Pra Muk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Pra Muk finish him?
Pra Muk is trying to stall.
Pra Muk lands a hook that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Johnson has Pra Muk pressed against the ropes, preventing Pra Muk from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Johnson blocks an uppercut.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses.
Pra Muk stalling in the clinch but Johnson improves position.

Pra Muk breaks the clinch.
Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pra Muk circles away quickly and effectively.
Ryan Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Johnson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Pra Muk throws a hook but Johnson blocks it.
Johnson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Pra Muk throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
Johnson leaves his chin hanging out and Pra Muk seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Johnson crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tak Pra Muk!
