Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Silversea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ianko Ianin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ianko Ianin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Silversea!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ianko Ianin!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silversea moves in looking to clinch but Ianin pushes him off.
Ianin keeps the fight on the outside.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ianin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Silversea up against the cage.

Ianin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ianin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Ianin stands up.
Ianin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Ianko Ianin has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silversea throws a head kick that misses.

Ianin darts in and clinches Silversea up against the cage.
Ianin keeps control of Silversea as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ianin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Silversea comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Ianin pulls Silversea into guard.
Ianin has a closed guard, preventing Silversea from standing up.
Ianin seems keen to control Silversea's posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silversea wants to control from the top but Ianin keeps moving.

Ianin has his feet on Silversea's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Ianin circles away from the clinch attempt
and Ianin counters with a head kick.

Silversea looks to land a combination but Ianin avoids it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silversea throws a combination that misses

and Ianin counters with a shoot takedown. Silversea fights it but they end up in guard.
Silversea is breathing heavily.
Ianin forces his way into half guard.

Ianin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silversea doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ianin.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silversea wants to get back to his feet.
Ianin lands with a punch from half guard.
Ianin is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ianin seems to be working for a kimura but Silversea defends the submission attempt.

Silversea is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ianin pulls his head out easily.
Ianin stalling.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Let's hope that Ianin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Ianin clinches with his opponent.
Silversea pushes off an throws an elbow but Ianin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Silversea is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ianin stalling in the clinch.

Ianin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silversea uses from the top position.
Ianin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ianin is pulling down on Silversea's head to control his posture.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silversea looking to sit in guard and control but Ianin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ianin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ianin decides to stand back up.

Ianin gets a takedown into half guard.
Ianin scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Ianin works his way into full mount!
Ianin controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ianin get's back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ianko Ianin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Ianin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ianin moves nicely into side control.
Ianko Ianin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ianin advances to mount.
Silversea is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ianin controlling his opponent.

Ianin prevents Silversea from getting the reversal.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ianin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ianko Ianin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ianin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silversea sprawls well initially but Ianin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ianin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Silversea wants to improve his position but Ianin is controlling well.

Ianko Ianin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ianin looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ianko Ianin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Ianin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
