The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juntta lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oriola at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Juntta.
Oriola misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Juntta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oriola moves away.
Juntta scores with a head kick.
We've been hearing reports that Oriola has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Juntta swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
No joy there for Juntta, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oriola seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Juntta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Juntta felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

A less than humble Diego Oriola misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
