Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Quim Pinto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matty Lewis! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis drives through with a takedown into guard. Pinto looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lewis controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. More stalling from Lewis. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Lewis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Lewis.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lewis fails to land the takedown. Pinto was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Pinto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pinto wants it to stay on the feet. Lewis with a poor takedown and Pinto counters with a straight right hand. Quim Pinto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matty Lewis. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lewis. Lewis misses with a takedown and Pinto counters with a straight right hand. Lewis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pinto! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. It looks like Lewis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pinto is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lewis is controlling him well. Pinto is being controlled here. Lewis is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yet more stalling tactics from Lewis. The adventures of Lewis the control monster continue. Boring. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matty Lewis dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lewis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pinto's half guard. Lewis stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lewis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pinto did well to prevent Lewis getting side control. Lewis trying to control the pace. Pinto has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Lewis is on him like a limpet, forcing Pinto back against the cage. Lewis has hold of one of Pinto's legs. Pinto is fighting the takedown attempt but Lewis gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Lewis is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pinto seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Lewis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lewis darts in looking for a takedown but Pinto gets double underhooks and turns Lewis into the cage. Lewis dives in and scores a takedown into Pinto's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pinto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lewis controls the pace. Matty Lewis has got the better of the ground game so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matty Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Lewis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pinto is trying to defend but Lewis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lewis controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinto is looking to escape. Still in half guard, Lewis seems content to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lewis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pinto seems a little lost for a moment, as Lewis dominates the positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pinto is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lewis asserts his dominance and retains side control. Lewis is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pinto's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Lewis content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Quim Pinto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Matty Lewis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Matty Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Lewis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
