Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cruz Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Price!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price looks to land a right hand but Dillon moved out of range.
Dillon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Price misses the target.

and Dillon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dillon scores with a spinning back kick!
A head kick from Dillon lands but Price takes it in his stride.
Dillon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Price shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dillon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dillon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Price on the ground.
Price is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Price tries to free his leg and advance position but Dillon is retaining full guard.
Price has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Price with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dillon wants to sweep but no luck.
Price advances position into side control!
Price tries to advance to mount but Dillon denies him.

Price is trying to get an arm triangle but Dillon is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dillon on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Price working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Dillon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Price creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Dillon tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Price has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dillon's face.
Dillon tries to reverse the position but Price maintains control.

Price working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dillon looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Price! Submission of the night perhaps?
