Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Francisco Babyara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Niko Marcell!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babyara cracks Marcell with a right hand to the side of the head.
Babyara feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Marcell sprawling to the canvas! Marcell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Babyara finish him?!
It looks like Niko Marcell has been cut.
Marcell lands the left hand.
Marcell misses the body punch
and Babyara counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Marcell has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Francisco Babyara!
