Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Vanna!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kubilay clinches.

Kubilay is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vanna can't fight it off and eventually Kubilay manages to take the fight to the floor. Vanna looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kubilay tries to free his leg and advance position but Vanna is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kubilay sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vanna's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kubilay is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Kubilay is working for a kimura but Vanna is defending it quite comfortably.

We've been informed that Vanna has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Vanna stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kubilay swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vanna won't allow Kubilay to sweep him here.
Kubilay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kubilay is trying to work for a kimura but Vanna is defending well.
Vanna has hold of Kubilay's hands but Kubilay slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Vanna moves in looking to clinch but Kubilay pushes him off.

Kubilay decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kubilay breaks from Vanna's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kubilay looking to take Vanna's back but Vanna rolls and after a scramble, Vanna ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Vanna to escape a tricky position.

Vanna must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kubilay wants to sweep here but Vanna controlling him for the moment.

Kubilay uses his free foot to push down on Vanna's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vanna.

A less than humble Marcin Vanna misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
