Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stukoy Provsky (ranked 7474 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egi John (ranked 5251 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Stukoy Provsky has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Stukoy Provsky seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stukoy Provsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Egi John! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. John stands up from half guard. Provsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but John paws at him with a jab and circles away. Provsky wants to clinch. Provsky closes the distance but John moves to the side and John decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Provsky's guard. Provsky seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. John is standing up over Provsky. Provsky looks to escape but John dives into side control.
John decides to stand back up. John steps back and let's Provsky get back to his feet. Provsky wants to clinch but John slips to the side and John counters with a nice double leg into side control. Provsky won't be happy with that. Provsky wants to get back to his feet but John is dominant here and he's now got Provsky's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. What's going on here? John has decided to give up on the ground game despite having his opponent's back!
Provsky is looking to clinch but John is avoiding it.

Provsky tries to grapple but his opponent circles and John counters with a nice double leg into side control. Provsky won't be happy with that. Provsky is looking to get back to his feet here but John is keeping cool and he's managed to take Provsky's back. John has decided that he can't make progress quickly enough from the back position and has rather unusually decided to stand up from the dominant position. Obviously he's going to be looking for the knockout on the feet here! John throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Provsky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. John is in Provsky's guard. John is standing up over Provsky. Provsky looks to escape but John dives into side control.

John has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Provsky tries to clinch but fails miserably and John counters with a nice double leg into half guard. John decides to stand up. Provsky is breathing heavily. John pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Provsky looks to clinch and John counters with a takedown into side control. John stands up and beckons Provsky to his feet. John throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Provsky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. John is in Provsky's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Provsky is working an open guard so John takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Provsky tries to clinch but John moves away and John counters with a shoot takedown. Provsky fights it but they end up in guard. John is standing up over Provsky. Provsky looks to escape but John dives into side control.
John stands up and beckons Provsky to his feet. John shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than John was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Provsky wants to get back to his feet but John is dominant here and he's now got Provsky's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. What's going on here? John has decided to give up on the ground game despite having his opponent's back!
Provsky closes the distance but John moves to the side and John counters with a shoot takedown. Provsky fights it but they end up in guard. Provsky is wriggling around but John manages to pass to half guard.
John postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Provsky to stand up. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. John looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Egi John dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Provsky wants to clinch up but John keeps it at a distance. John shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Provsky wants to clinch but John slips to the side and John decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Provsky's guard. John is standing up over Provsky. Provsky looks to escape but John dives into side control.
John has been the more effective fighter overall so far. John decides to stand up, so the ref orders Provsky to his feet. John drives through with a takedown into guard. Provsky wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and John manages to pass to side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Provsky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. John is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. John gets to his feet - back to striking we go! John keeps the fight on the outside. Provsky is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Provsky fails in his attempt to clinch. John keeps the fight on the outside. Provsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but John paws at him with a jab and circles away. John should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Provsky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. John decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Provsky is looking to clinch. John keeps the fight on the outside. Provsky closes the distance looking to clinch and John counters with a nice double leg into side control. Provsky won't be happy with that. John decides to stand back up. John steps back and let's Provsky get back to his feet. John moves into the clinch. John has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Provsky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Provsky throws a head punch that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Provsky misses with a knee to the head. Provsky tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and John avoids it. Provsky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite John's efforts to push away. A frustrated look appears on John's face as he tries to break the clinch. Provsky blocks an elbow strike from John.
John is trying to break the clinch but Provsky has him pressed against the cage. John just leaning against Provsky, taking a breather. Provsky misses with a knee strike.
John jumps guard but Provsky turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Provsky swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Provsky looking to throw knees to the head but John is blocking nicely.
John is looking to break free of the clinch but Provsky has double underhooks. John has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Provsky uses from the top position. John wants to stand and escape but Provsky is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Provsky wants to control from the top but John keeps moving. Provsky looking to sit in guard and control but John gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Egi John showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

John is trying to pull guard but Provsky turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. John has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Provsky regains guard immediately. Provsky is looking to stand back up but John counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Provsky. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

John bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. John stands up and beckons Provsky to his feet. John closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Provsky did well to prevent John getting side control. Provsky scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but John manages to mount him!

Stukoy Provsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

John throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Provsky moves in looking to clinch but John pushes him off. John tries to counter by closing the distance. Provsky doesn't manage to clinch there - John circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. John decides to take the fight back to the feet. John shoots in for a takedown and gets it. John decides to return to a standing position.
And that's the end of the fight! Egi John comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got John winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
