The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leal shoots in but Sandro avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Leal keeps the fight on the outside.

Leal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sandro is looking to improve his position.
Leal is controlling the pace.

Leal is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Sandro wants to control but Leal is keeping busy.
Leal tries to stand and escape but Sandro is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sandro is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Leal scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
