Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ranulf Drengot (ranked 2840 p4p, 344 weight class) and Daday Dadaeff (ranked 4121 p4p, 451 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ranulf Drengot has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ranulf Drengot seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ranulf Drengot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daday Dadaeff! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Dadaeff finds it's way through Drengot's defenses. Dadaeff clinches with his opponent.
Dadaeff content to slow the pace in the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Drengot has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Drengot tries for a takedown but Dadaeff manages to get underhooks.

Drengot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A punch combination from Dadaeff misses. Drengot avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drengot looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drengot gets the takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dadaeff wants to control but Drengot postures up. Drengot is trying to get an arm triangle but Dadaeff is defending well. Dadaeff parries the strikes from Drengot easily there. Drengot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dadaeff to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drengot wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dadaeff, who protects the arm well. Dadaeff wants to control but Drengot postures up. Drengot working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Drengot is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dadaeff has escaped the position, nice work there. Drengot is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dadaeff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dadaeff struggling a bit here. Drengot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dadaeff manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drengot thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dadaeff blocking the ground and pound attempt from Drengot. Dadaeff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dadaeff is controlling Drengot's trapped leg to prevent Drengot from advancing to side control. Drengot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dadaeff is just riding it out for now. Drengot eventually gives up the hold. Dadaeff tries to roll over but Drengot keeps him under control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dadaeff gets back to full guard.

A close round but Daday Dadaeff will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Drengot fails with a takedown attempt. Dadaeff closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Drengot out cold! Drengot corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Daday Dadaeff! In defeat, Ranulf Drengot stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm so disappointed, but I will be back stronger!'.
