The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assman pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Assman is defended easily by Hurst.
Assman doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hurst counters with a takedown into side control.
Assman is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hurst off and has taken his back!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Hurst trying to get back to his feet but Assman is in full control for now.
Hurst is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Assman is cranking Hurst's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hurst! He's tightened the choke and Hurst is tapping out!
