Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cory Trevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Trevor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trailor Park Boys Theme. Cory Trevor has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels throws a series of punches but Trevor moves out of range. Daniels misses with a series of wild punches.
Trevor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Trevor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Daniels throws a body punch but Trevor moves out of range. Daniels looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Daniels showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Trevor.

A combination from Daniels does no damage. Trevor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniels pinned against the cage. Daniels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Trevor misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Trevor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Daniels tries to avoid it but Trevor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Daniels to the ground. Daniels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cory Trevor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trevor wants to clinch. Daniels throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Trevor fails to land the takedown. Trevor slips a jab and a cross from Daniels.

Daniels has a closed guard, preventing Trevor from standing up. Trevor tries to free his leg and advance position but Daniels is retaining full guard. Trevor wants to pass the guard but Daniels is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Daniels throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Trevor counters with a takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trevor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daniels keeps working. Daniels is looking to regain half guard here but Trevor keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels misses with an elbow from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trevor is working away from the top position though. Trevor is pressing down on Daniels's thigh, looking to free his foot. Daniels is holding on for now. Daniels is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Trevor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Trevor's back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Even with his hooks in, Daniels manages to miss with strikes from the back. Trevor trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trevor passes into side control, despite Daniels's attempt to control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Daniels moves away from the strike by Trevor. Daniels misses with a double jab
and Trevor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jack Daniels has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Daniels throws a right and a left that both miss. Trevor doesn't manage to clinch there - Daniels circles away.

And that's the end of the fight! Cory Trevor showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Trevor, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
