Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Peterson (ranked 23538 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Brown (ranked 7032 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Stuck in the middle with you as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Andy Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sylvester Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Brown! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown clinches. Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into Peterson's guard. Peterson wants to get back to his feet but Brown passes into half guard.
Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Peterson's head. Peterson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily. Brown content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson is trying to stand.
Peterson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brown. Brown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Peterson defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Brown wants to get back to his feet.
Peterson wants to get back to full guard. Brown works his foot free and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown blocks Peterson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Peterson can't escape the position.
Brown wants to control the pace but Peterson is squirming around nicely. Brown with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Peterson is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Peterson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown looking to control but Peterson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. You get the feeling that Peterson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Brown working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Peterson slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Peterson striking off his back but it's not causing Brown any problems. Peterson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well. Peterson throwing short punches from the bottom. Peterson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Brown manages to pass to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Peterson sees it coming and defends easily. Peterson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Brown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Peterson defending well though. Peterson missing with punches from the bottom.
Peterson is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard. Still in half guard, Brown seems content to control. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peterson keeps working. Peterson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peterson is trying to stand back up but Brown is controlling him
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Brown looks to land a left hand but Peterson moved out of range nicely. Peterson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Brown manages to circle out of the way. Brown scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Brown looks to land a strike but Peterson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Brown trying to control but Peterson is working from the bottom. Peterson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Brown won't allow Peterson to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peterson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well. Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Peterson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Peterson is breathing heavily. Peterson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Brown dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Peterson was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard. Peterson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Peterson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Brown is defending well. Peterson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Brown has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Peterson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
