The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cousteau as he avoids it easily.
De will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
De is looking to clinch but Cousteau is avoiding it.
De tries to close the distance and clinch but Cousteau swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cousteau avoids the head kick by De.
De connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
De will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jacques Cousteau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Monkey De.
De tries for a takedown but Cousteau sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cousteau circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cousteau clinches up against the cage.
De is trying to break the clinch but Cousteau has him pressed against the cage.
Cousteau jumps guard and drags De to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cousteau is looking for a triangle but De pushes his legs off easily.

Cousteau has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. De doesn't defend quickly enough and Cousteau has managed to lock this one up! Can De escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cousteau on a fantastic submission victory.
