Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morus darts in and clinches James up against the cage.

James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
James cracks Morus with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

James told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gargan Morus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Morus tries to clinch there but James circles away.

James throws out a counter right but Morus avoids it with no problem.

James might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Morus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Morus is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and James moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam James!
Liam James decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Gargan Morus stepped up to the mic, saying 'I lose...I learn....I'll be back!'.
