The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcallister throws a shot from downtown. Hathaway moves away and avoids it.
Mcallister throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hathaway on the side of the head.
It looks like Daniel Hathaway has been cut.
Hathaway misses with a few strikes there.
Mcallister scores with a jab to the head.
Mcallister throws a hook but Hathaway blocks it.
Mcallister avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hathaway misses with a series of wild punches.
Mcallister moves away from the strike by Hathaway.
Hathaway darts in trying to clinch
and Mcallister counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hathaway throws a head kick but Mcallister moves out of range.
Hathaway fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Mcallister misses the target.
Mcallister scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Mcallister, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mcallister tries to bum rush Hathaway with a series of wild strikes but Hathaway uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As Mcallister tries to get set, Hathaway tries to push him back and clinch up but Mcallister manages to avoid the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hathaway tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Mcallister manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mcallister ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hathaway is breathing heavily.
Mcallister connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Daniel Hathaway's cut is getting worse.
Mcallister misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hathaway.
Mcallister throws a nice looking combination but Hathaway bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
OH! Hathaway has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Mcallister smells blood and charges in for the finish! Mcallister unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Hathaway sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
