Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Trigger (ranked 784 p4p, 116 weight class) and Zed Vrienan (ranked 2201 p4p, 292 weight class). Vrienan has chosen Tango Instrumental as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jackson Trigger has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vrienan tries to clinch up.
Trigger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Trigger changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vrienan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Trigger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Trigger circles away from the clinch attempt
and Trigger counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vrienan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Decent striking displayed by Trigger there.
Vrienan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vrienan doesn't manage to clinch there - Trigger circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Trigger as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Zed Vrienan has been cut.
Vrienan tries to clinch up.
Vrienan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Trigger counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Vrienan off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Trigger follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Vrienan was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jackson Trigger!

A relieved looking Jackson Trigger thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
