Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sylvain Lievremont (ranked 2443 p4p, 275 weight class) and Bob Goblin (ranked 6278 p4p, 490 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of The Island, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Bob Goblin! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Goblin wants to clinch up but Lievremont keeps it at a distance. Lievremont looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lievremont (2) vs (0) Goblin Lievremont is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Goblin sees it coming and defends easily. Lievremont is keen to just control but Goblin is a slippery customer. Goblin is looking for a sweep. Lievremont is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lievremont is thwarting Goblin's attempts to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lievremont tries to pass to full mount but Goblin defends it. Goblin is staying active underneath Lievremont, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lievremont is keen to just control but Goblin is a slippery customer. Lievremont is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lievremont uses his free foot to push down on Goblin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Goblin. Score +3 for passing guard: Lievremont (5) vs (0) Goblin
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lievremont has hold of Goblin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Goblin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lievremont swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Goblin is now in Lievremont's guard. A big mistake from Lievremont there, giving up the dominant position! Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Lievremont (5) vs (2) Goblin Goblin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lievremont is keeping the position for now. Lievremont tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lievremont is working hard here to advance position. Goblin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lievremont swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lievremont is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Goblin has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Buoy Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Lievremont is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Goblin wants to control from the top but Lievremont keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Goblin looking to pass the guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Goblin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Goblin preventing the sweep. Lievremont looking for a triangle here. Goblin is fighting it but it looks tight! Lievremont pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Goblin is tapping out - this one is all over!
