Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugues Dupont (ranked 1134 p4p, 43 weight class) and Kyle Cruz (ranked 1415 p4p, 57 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Dupont.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cruz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dupont is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cruz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dupont tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dupont has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dupont thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dupont drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dupont jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dupont got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cruz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dupont has managed to get both his arms back between Cruz's legs - danger averted.

Cruz shoots in for a double leg but Dupont sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kyle Cruz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
