Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kale Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAngelo Spite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cruz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome to the Jungle. Spite has chosen "Here Comes The Boom" - Nelly as his entrance music. Kale Cruz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spite stuffs the takedown attempt from Cruz. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.
Spite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cruz fails with a takedown attempt.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown but Spite shows good takedown defense.

Spite misses with a double jab.
Spite jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Spite lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cruz backs up against the cage.

Cruz closes the distance and clinches up with Spite, looking for a takedown. Cruz pushes Spite against the cage but Spite circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cruz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spite swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cruz throws a strike but Spite rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Cruz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Spite is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cruz.

Spite tries to lock up and control but Cruz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Cruz lands a huge takedown. Spite is out but the ref is slow to react and Cruz lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Spite lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
