The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra throws a sloppy head kick
and Azevedo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Serra's guard.
Azevedo wants to control from the top but Serra keeps moving.
Azevedo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Azevedo passes Serra's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Azevedo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Serra is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Fernando Azevedo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
