Jones comes to the cage accompanied by My Name is. Flair has chosen 7734 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones closes the distance and clinches. Jones working Flair over with knees to the body. Jones with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Nick Flair has been cut. Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Flair has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Flair has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Flair is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Flair has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Flair seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jones creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Flair's defenses. Jones is fighting off a takedown attempt but Flair is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jones to the mat. Jones regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Flair slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Flair remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jones wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Flair is working to tighten his grip on Jones's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jones has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Flair is really squeezing tight and eventually Jones passes out! Flair breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Nick Flair! A relieved looking Nick Flair thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
