And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcellus Clay!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Clay counters with a nice uppercut.
Bear thuds a left hand into Clay's body.
Clay lands a leg kick that knocks Bear off balance momentarily.
Clay connects with a leg kick. Bear looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bear slips a straight right by Clay.
Bear keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bear misses with a two punch combination.
Bear backing away here, and Clay unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Teddy Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Bear, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Clay counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bear throws out a loose jab but Clay uses good head movement to avoid it.
Clay throws out a counter right but Bear avoids it with no problem.
Bear tests Clay's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear scores with a punch to the head.
A combination from Bear does no damage.
Bear shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clay as he jumps to the side.
Clay uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bear.
Jab, jab by Bear - just one landing.
Bear throws the left hand but Clay avoids the punch easily.
Clay uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bear.
A punch combination from Bear misses.
Bear misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clay misses the body punch
and Clay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Marcellus Clay has been cut.
Bear cracks Clay with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bear has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Clay to stand back up!
Clay is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clay uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bear.
Clay is still on wobbly legs! Can Bear finish him?
Bear swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Clay to counter with a crisp jab.
Clay seems to have recovered his senses.
Bear misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bear is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clay.
It seemed like Clay was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bear falls off balance throwing a combination
and Clay counters with a nice uppercut.
Bear throws an off balance right hand
and Clay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bear. Clay does a little dance to reset his feet.
Clay drops Bear with a huge uppercut! Bear drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Clay is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcellus Clay!
An out of breath Marcellus Clay thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Teddy Bear stepped up to the mic, saying 'Tonight wasn't my night, but i'll learn and come back stronger.'.
